PARISH PRIEST
Fr. Dr. Nathaniel Onwuekwe joined us at the end of August 2020. He was ordained a Catholic Priest on 5th July 2008 in Nigeria. Fr Nathaniel studied in Switzerland and has a doctorate in Moral Theology. Fr Nathaniel has provided pastoral supply to several parishes in the Diocese, including a short while at Northampton Cathedral before being made Parish Priest here at St Anthony's.

LITURGICAL
Liturgy Group
The Parish Liturgy Group meets to plan and coordinate the celebration of Mass and Feast Days. The Group also supports the Priest in all Liturgical aspects of the Parish.

Ministers of the Eucharist
Lay Eucharistic Ministers are appointed every year to offer the Holy Eucharist in the Parish.
Ministers of the Word
Our Ministers of the Word are appointed every Easter to proclaim the Word at Mass in church.

Altar Servers
We have a wonderful team of Altar Servers of boys and girls from Age 7 upwards. They serve at the Vigil Mass on Saturday and on Sunday. If you are interested in your son or daughter learning more about this role, please see our Lead Server.

Children's Liturgy
Previously volunteers provided the Liturgy of the Word for children up to First Holy Communion age during the 10:30am Mass on Sunday mornings but we are currently unable to do so due to lack of volunteers. If you feel you might be able to help with this please see Fr. Nathaniel.

St. Anthony's Church Music Group
St Anthony's Music Group meets every Wednesday at 6.30pm in the Crypt. It comprises of guitarists, singers and percussionists. The Group meets to practice and plan the music for the forthcoming Mass on a Sunday. We have a number of children and adults and are always looking for more members.

Catechists
We have a small group of dedicated parishioners who willingly give up their time on a regular basis to help with preparing people young and old for the Sacraments of First Holy Communion, Confirmation, and RCIA. To find out more about these Sacraments, click the link below.
Prayer Groups
Accompanied Prayer Group
St Anthony's used to have an Accompanied Prayer Group. This group had a number of children and adults who were actively participating. Once this group becomes active again, we will update our parishioners and local community and we will welcome again the members who would like to join.

The Parish Committees meet, plan and coordinate the celebration. This is truly an exciting event that held every summer. Gardens & Ground Maintenance
St Anthony Church has beautiful grounds and these are looked after by a number of kind volunteers. If you are able to assist, please see Fr Nathaniel.
Collection
Every week we have volunteers that count the offertory collections, and take the money to the bank. There is a rota for performing this duty every Monday to share the responsibility between the volunteers. Please contact the Parish Office for more info.
